Special Hollydays - la Milonga Rumbera

Tango at Rumberos started on Halloween night 2006, not too long after this gorgeous restaurant opened its doors for the first time. Rumberos is one of the most beautiful restaurants in the city, and it is a real privilege to have an opportunity to tango on its exceptional hardwood floors, surrounded by a collection of artwork in remembrance of Argentina - its country, its music, and its Tango popular.

El Tango Popular

Tango is not just a dance, it is a reunion. A gathering of people, of friends and lovers who decided that it was worth spending the time together, with no discrimination of age or origin. Tango is popular. It belongs to everyone, no matter if you are dancing, listening or just watching. It belongs to the passionate also...

Before the Tango class there is a chance to network and enjoy the social aspect of tango outside of the dance floor. You may chose to make new friends at a large table reserved to that effect, or have a glass of wine with your partner at one of the small tables in the VIP section of the restaurant. There is not need to rush into dancing! Use this special time to learn and discuss Tango codes, get to know you fellow tangueros, let the music embrace you and only then begin testing out the floor.

Milonga

On special holidays, we request the pleasure of the company of all tangueros in town! Since we are happy to celebrate these special nights with you, we forget about the cover charge - La Milonga Rumbera is always FREE.
